Memory Booster - RAM Optimizer App Reviews

This app was referred to me to help increase my productivity flow. It’s easy and it works fine. Good tool to add to your app list.

Ive never used this product, but I like seeing it work, and when I notice that my memory is low, it prompts me to look to see if anything is open that Im not using or dont need open at that moment. I tend not to pay attention to that, so its handy for me in more ways than one. Id for sure recommend this to anyone.

Its fine, nothing WOW about it. The ads drives me nuts.

I have used other other memory saving apps but none of them works as well for me as Memory Booster. Its by far the best.

This is a simple app that performs very well. The impact it makes is immediate and noticeable. I’ve tried similar apps for PCs, but none of them ever performed as well as this one. I’m running it on a 2009 MBP with 4 GB RAM.

I only have 2G of RAM on an old iMAC. I was seeing the spinning multicolored beachball of death all the time. This app fixed all that. Its easy to use and does the job very well.

This product does precisely as it is designd to do. However, the designer pushes another product, the InstaFed application. I find this to be an annoying feature.

Easy and quick as advertised. You’ll still need Activity Monitor to identifiy the memory hog apps that you might want to close. Just don’t leave the main window open or you’ll be annoyed with their ads. Edit: It doesn’t retain the Preference for Threshold Level after reboot. This is annoying and should be fixed.

Keeps on flashing notification for quick pdf viewer. Got rid of it.

Does what it advertises. Now I don’t have to restart my computer as frequently. Memory Booster is quick and simple.

What an amazing app! I have OSX Lion installed on my late 2007 MacBook, (yes, that old), its been so much better with this installed! I reinstalled Lion on the mac to refresh its performance. This app was the first thing I installed. Ever since then, my Mac has been running better than my brothers MacBook Pro 2010! Definitely recommend this app! Get it! You wont regret it!

An excellent program that subscribes to Apple’s old (and no longer as true) adage: “It just works…"

Love it. Does exactly what it promises. For some reasoon everytime I use MS Word it cuts my RAM from 4 or5 Gigs down to 15 megs. Damned PC junk but 10 second scan with this and it cleans out the crap and bounces the memory right back up, Indispensible!!! GET IT YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT!!!!!!

I restarted my computer and had no apps running other than Caffeine. I watched my available memory go from 1.5 GB to 142 MB in 5 minutes and I was doing absolutely nothing on my computer. I would like to understand why this is happening. Makes the app feel a little like the the wizard in the Wizard of OZ hiding behind a screen. Perhaps the developer can explain this.

I am currently running OSX 10.9.3 and I usually have to force the app to clean memory, I thought it would do it automatically.

Not sure if I’m using this app to its full potential, but seeing the memory readout is great. I use this particular Macbook Pro mainly for audio/ video production, so memory usage is important to keep track of. If I see the memory start dropping, at least I have a heads up and take steps to avoid a dropout.

Other apps that say they clean out the memory don’t compare . MEMORY BOOSTER DOES THE JOB….. 5 stars from tommy d daugherty

Only had it for a few days, and so far it works great!!!!

Does not work as well as Memory Clean. This app is only an advertising device for other “Freshly Squeezed” apps. Constant pop-up about their other apps. NOT HELPFUL!
